
If you water tank is running, constantly check for these things:
- If the Float ball or rod is misaligned – Bend the float rod carefully so it doesn’t rub against the side of the tank.
- The Float ball contains water– Empty or replace the float ball
- The Float ball is not rising high enough– Carefully slightly bend the float rod down.
- The Tank ball not sealing properly at the bottom of the tank– Remove any corrosion from the lip of the valve seat, replaced the tank ball if worn adjust the lift wire and guide.
- The ballcock valve does not shut of the water– Replace the washers in ballcock assembly or if necessary, replace the whole assembly.
If your toilet does not flush or flushes inadequately:
- If the drain is clogged- Remove the blockage from the drain
- If there is not enough water in the tank- Raise the water in the tank by slightly bending the rod up
- If the tank ball falls back before enough water leaves the tank- Move guide up so tank ball can rise higher
- If there is a leak where the tank joins the toilet bowl- Tighten the nuts on the spud pipe, replace the spud washers if necessary
- Ports around bowl rim clogged- Ream out residue from ports.
